Data Protection

We sell systems with a RAID setup to help protect your data. RAID is a system of multiple hard drives synchronized to keep the same data on each hard drive. This way, if one hard drive goes bad, you don't lose your data and you can just replace the bad hard drive. This redundancy limits the downtime of your business servers which saves you money!

RAID 5 Server

RAID Level 5

This level is commonly referred to as striping with distributed parity. RAID 5 is operated under at least 3 hard drives. When one of the hard drive fails, the system will run normally. Then you can replace the bad drive and rebuild without losing any data while the system is running with hot-swap function. RAID 5 setup gives the most protection and performance

H600B

Entry-level RAID 1 Server

RAID Level 1

RAID Level 1 is commonly referred to as mirroring with 2 hard drives. It provides redundancy by duplicating all data from one drive onto another drive. The performance of a Level 1 array is slightly better than a single drive, but if either drive fails, no data is lost. This is a good entry-level redundant system, since only two drives are required.
